Notice of Curly Leaf Pond Weed Treatment on LPL 2026:
Treatment for CLPW on Little Pine Lake took place May 19th and targeted approximately 9 Acres including 1 area on the south shore and 2 areas on the north shore. Flumioxazin was used to treat the CLPW. Treatment for LPL is funded by the LID (Lake Improvement District) for invasive species control.
2026 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting was held Saturday June 13th, 9 a.m. at Lakeside Golf Club. Guest Speakers included Jodi Teich, Otter Tail County Engineer, and Wes Keller from Houston Engineering. They discussed the Hwy 51 Culvert Project. As well, Steve Henry, Aquatic Services Lake Technician, provided information on Curly Leaf Pond Weed.
There were no Fun Theme ideas submitted at the annual meeting for the 2027 Boat Parade, so next year’s theme (2027) will still have 2 categories: Patriotic, and an Open Category. The Open category will include entrants with any decorated boat that does not follow the patriotic theme.
